It ain't Izzi being easy

Woke up yesterday eager to dig in to crabs! The weather wasn't lovely, but I'm slightly mad cause "I'm only happy when it rains". Settled the fees and everything and the seafood trip was cancelled... :( No more crabs for my fingers to pry open then. Poor poor. So there was a "congregation" on "What to do then?", *I kept saying karaoke, but no one seemed to want to agree or disagree, my voice went with the wind outside*
Soon it was decided that we went for Shabu-Shabu. I-Rene suggested 1U. but I forgot what happened, but we didn't end up going there. hahah we headed for Kepong instead. Let's see, the each person a little boiler concept is pretty nice but the food is just.. erm.. normal? The sauce is terrific though. hahaha Would I go to all the trouble to go there again? Nope. Unless somehow I'm in that vicinity and the company I'm with wants to go there.
Everyone was stuffed after that, so no dessert for us... Sob sob... then we headed for Karaoke... sigh.... Well at least we get to sing. Wanted to sing Cyndi Wang... LOL.... but the Sin Ying chose so many... -.-"" I think halfway through the session, I didn't feel like singing anymore... *I stopped enjoying myself? Oh dear.... what's wrong with me?* I felt rather content watching the music videos or rather guessing the chinese characters. Haha... *I might as well have stayed at home and surfed youtube eh?*
Rushed home to get ready for dinner. Watched tv and read the papers at the same time. Received a message from Strawbs that she would leave her house at 7.15pm. *Takes less than 5 minutes to reach my house from hers*. 7.30pm.... Mum said: "Takes so long from her house to come here meh?" Then she arrives.. hahaah
Reached Izzi!
Surprisingly we were the first to arrive. LOL... Started taking pictures and thus begins my first "official" photologview. Wk, no longer evil devil and yi lin bong reached and we ordered our drinks first. After maybe about 20 minutes only did How Han, Function & SK arrive along with our drinks.. My guess is that they probably took it from Starbucks that's why it took them so darn long... -.-"
Allowed the rest to study the menu to finally order.
Let's see.. Function & SK ordered the Carbonara.
According to Function, it ain't nice. But Yi Lin felt it wasn't half bad.
How Han ordered....
I don't think he liked his either. Oh he ordered mushroom soup too.
WK ordered....
Chicken Steak with Pasta
Shu Wei had...
Grilled Butterfish with Tomato Coulies, which had really wonderful presentation. hehe
Mei Shea's was...
Baked Cheese Macaroni... there was a typo on the menu.. unless it wasn't a typo?
I tasted a little, it felt like Mac & Cheese, the cheese was too sour for my liking.... According to her, it was like Mac & Cheese, very little chicken.
Me & Yi Lin shared
Pollo Tropicale Pizza &
Cheese Dough Ball? I forgot the name.. hehe.. It was a starter though...
The pizza was ok, the base didn't ebcome soggy & all as it cooled down, but it didn't really meet my expectations... I prefer Domino's -.-" Puzzini's is still the best though... LOL. The Cheese Dough Ball thingy was ok. If U left it there to "absorb" the air-cond, the bun would be hard on the outside but on the inside it's still soft & nice... hehe
After that, the majority wanted to catch a movie, so I played along.. sadly there weren't any nice times.... Both in TGV & GSC. Walked pass my favourite shop in 1U. There was a bear that is really cute! But I already have tonnes so no more...
Ended up at Friendster cafe. The jam heading to Kota Damansara was horrible. Mei Shea took the jammed up route while wk didn't. Imagine. They already reached Friendster cafe but we were still at 1U's traffic light... *smacks head*
Pretty tired by the time we got there... Played some games.. the last game was uno stacko which was also the silliest. We only palyed one game of that cause we needed to leave. 3 people into the game, How Han had a hard time finding a nice piece to take. wk was next and he made it fall. Shu Wei, me & Yi Lin didn't even get a chance to pull.. -.-"" LOL...
The service at Friendster was I would say good, thier service people were nice & friendly... But the frink I would say is overpriced. Oh well, there's a first for everything.
Till then cheerios.
P.S. Strawbs really needs new music for her car....Labels: Emo, Gibberish, Munch, Review

Eh, got free ticket ah?
Friday, November 30, 2007
Apparently someone did get a free ticket. But that later.
Yesterday it poured out of the blue, it felt like those days where thing that could possibly go wrong would eventually get wrong. It was 5pm, Chelle called & I rushed to get ready, rushed myself for that adrenaline feel. *What the heck?* Wong Kam Kam arrived and we reached BSC in the heavy rain where most of the cars were going at 40-50kmph...
Had an odd time collecting the tickets... and went to Chilli's to Chill.. hehe.. Chelle was quite "gan jiong" I have no idea why.. only 7 whut... 8 o'clock only the show starts... * We found out after that it was 8.30 pm.. -.-""* There were 2 false alarms before the eventual alarm actually went off...
I forgot what we were doing but Vat & Yeen was suddenly at the side of our table.. Surprising! Yeen was genuinely surprised too... Obviously, cause we were supposed to surprise her anyway... Had dinner and pretended that we weren't going to the show. Chatted too.. the chatting stopped when we heard the Chilli's staff singing "Happy Birthday" to a boy near our table. The chattering continued... Chelle & I agreed that Yeen thought it was for her.. whahahahha teruknya kita....
We continued chit chatting and all. Everyone had a story how nice... As always I don't... sad... Lied that we needed to leave soon. cause we *Me & Chelle* still thought that the show was starting at 8pm. Soon another cake came out of the kitchen accompanied by the birthday song. I was thinking.. "Wah so many people's birthday today." Then it stopped at our table. "Huh? wrong table ah?" *Cause I thought Vat wasn't getting a cake* We looked quizzically at the staff and sensing something was wrong the staff felt a little odd and then thier "Happy Birthday" waned a little too... hahahha... The cake was confirmed to be ours... but it definitely surprised us all. Vat's friend dropped it off for our table. How nice.. Thank U to her! Mana tahu the cake was for me also. hahaha cause I insisted on getting one for Yeen's, so they had to get one. wahhahaha thank U Vat & Chelle... Though a slice was enough... ok k.. I know.. don't whine anymore..
Then the presents were given out. Yeen had the free ticket for "Eh, got free ticket ah?" and she went, "No.. I'm paying for the ticket.... No.. No" and I had a voucher for a free meal at any restaurant in BSC and I went "No, where can.. don't want.. it's too expensive" *Jeez, why can't anyone just accept thier present graciously eh?* No wonder Chelle asked me to pick... ish... Since we already acted that we weren't going for the show though Yeen insisted... We continued acting.... We left first... met them at the escalator and said oh.. we were looking for times... -.-"" *I bet she suspected something*
Vat & Yeen waited on the left while Me & Chelle waited on the right... Let them in first and casually walked in... She was surprised again.. wahhahaha syoknya...
Now for the show: The show had Zak "Papi" Kamal as the opening act. There were some funny ones... but the build up was kinda long so it felt a little slow... I like me funnies to keep coming... not laugh for 2 minutes then break for 5 mins. I like mine to come every minute! hahaha so picky.. -.-" But Jit Murad was more to my kinda funny... He was quick and witty but occasionally a little too political for a person who doesn't like reading politics. The last act was Harith Iskandar... Personally I don't really like him.. I dunno why, but he wasn't that bad.. but again.. his style wasn't too my liking, the build up was a little dragging... At the beginning of one of the acts the act, I think it was Harith, he asked "who had free tickets to the show? We stared at Yeen.
Time passed quite fast though as when we came out it was 11pm.. not bad... Throughout the show I was wondering how they were gonna use a guite by the side of the stage, in the end they didn't use it... hehe
Ended the night with some McD's and went home in a fogging Wong Kam Kam. I think we were kinda paranoid at the car park area or going towards the car park area... hehe... Anyway, it was a nice nite... I'm not wondering what other plays should I go... hahaha

Still a little kid
Tuesday, November 27, 2007
Was helping my mum clear a cupboard today. SO much books, SO much dust. As she was passing them books to me, I stumbled upon one of my childhood favourite books, "The Magic Stone". Hahahahah started reading it too... then I continued to find my favourite book "The Magic Brush". Hehehhehe... so syok reading it... Don't know why I like em, probably it's the painting... There were quite a number of books that I remembered.. actually I remembered all of them.. hahahha could tell what was inside what book. LOL
There was one giant book, which I remembered was darn heavy when I was young, *it was the size of an atlas*, I only remembered Rip Van Winkle from it though.. heheh there were some pretty old Archie Comics as well...
The oldest I found would be a book from my mum's age. It was given from my aunt. The cost of the book was 50p. Hahahhaa.... hilarious this thing... Oh I found Richie Rich Comic, how interesting.. I shall stop now an continue reading the bedtime story books... hehehLabels: Emo, Gibberish, Gush

The mail that never came. Then again, never say never
Thursday, November 15, 2007
Sigh... No one wants to buy the stock from my previous post ah? Sigh... Anyway, I received something yesterday that could have made my day. It's quite hilarious actually. I shall explain, just wait, I need to convince U to buy the stuff first. Why don't U want to buy the stuff? Is it not reasonable? Heck the price can be haggled, why not? *ok enough crap now, ur chasing everyone away*
Now I shall start with my story. Had a paper to sit for yesterday, wasn't very satisfied with how I did, I crapped a lot. Yes! When I say I crapped a lot means I crapped tonnes, *nah I'm just exaggerating, I crapped for almost 3 outta 5 essay questions" Ok, left the exam hall early cause the place was crazily cold! My fingers were practically numb, the fingers that were numb were in my pocket somemore. -.-" Could have left earlier, but I heard rain and thunder, so I couldn't go anywhere in the current weather anyway, I just waited... waited... waited.
Reached home and oddly enough, checked out the mail that was collected. * I hardly get mail, apart from the result slip which is addressed to me but my parents eagerly open, but I check occasionally for some reason I have no idea. Trying to be nosy I guess. * Then I saw one really odd mail. A letter addressed to me, it was a mail for members.
I was shocked and was thinking "are U kidding me?", I showed my mum too and her response was almost similar, so I opened it. It was a brochure like thing to invite me to some carnival, there was a contest too and boy were those prizes tempting. But there's a catch. The contest is open only to children of 12 and below. -.-"
The mail was from a fast food chain, from their "Kiddie Club". I don't even remember joining. Wait! I remember joining, but it is very vague. My mum said I probably joined in 1994 or 1995. To be honest, I never received a single mail from them before. I don't even remember having a membership card *if they have one*. 13/12 years later they send me a mail?? heck I'm already 20! Yes, I might be young at heart but isn't this pushing it a little? It took them 12 / 13 years to mail me something? imagine how efficient they are. -.-""
I seem angry eh? Actually I'm grinning. Interesting ain't it? the first mail they send me is when I'm 20. Hahahahhaha that's how some silly mail almost made my day.
Let's see thier timelime. Let's say they use one year for each activity.
1. Send application
2. hang around at PO box, or letter box
3. Picked up application and sent to head office or where ever they approve them applications
4. scrutinize application
5. Approval by manager 1
6. Approval by manager 2
7. Approval by head manager
8. Details filed into database
9. Scrutinize details again
10. Oh, database is computerized, move files to IT centre
11. so many applications, takes time to reach mine
12. type in details
13. print details on envelope and sent out.
Days later, letter in my hand. interesting indeed! hahahha

Too frustrating being fussy
Wednesday, November 14, 2007
Being too fussy has made me given up... oh sigh.. how frustrating... Now I shall relate the ordeal to all who are too free to listen to me whine about my fussy-ness... Let the story begin:
One fine day, I decided to make a fairly "wise" decision to change something that has long been part of my life.... Aiyah cut the crap short... I give up wearing contacts... so simple.. -.-"""
Now I'll explain my fussiness. See first to wear contacts, one needs to clean thier hands and dry it... Now I wash my hands, I wipe it dry... Oh dear there are fibres flying around.... I get rid of the fibres that I can see, but u know fibres, they probably need a microscope to be spotted.
*now one must be wondering, how come there's so much fibres? well let's just say my room is never dust free. for example, I wipe the stereo one day, the next day.. the dust has happily settled back to it's normal position*
so after drying me hands, I retrieve the lens case , open it.. retrieve the lens get ready to put the lens into my eye and BAM! I spot a fibre stuck to the lens... I try my best to remove it.. to no avail... so I rinse it with the sterilised stuff... after rinsing all should be well.. Get ready to put it into my eye again... BAM! another fibre! -.-"" after getting rid of that fibre and checking if the lens is inverted or there is a tear I put it onto my eye and feel a pain.... The eye starts to tear.... Quickly remove it... inspect it to see if there are any tears or fibres or if it's inverted... Hmm.. nothing of that matter.... As now my eye hurts like hell, it wouldn't be wise to put it back in yes?
Ok... if all goes well and the lens is happily on my eye... *where it should be, not being soaked in the little case* After about 5 hours or so... the eye feel kinda dry... so since I'm home I remove it... after removing.. I notice that my eye has become redder than before...
So for the sake for my health and my emotional rollercaoster.. I give up wearing contact lenses after 2 months... *boy.. what a horrid 2 months* I think I'm just destroyed my eye's health... sigh.. poor eye... Now what am I going to do with the 8 other contact lenses floating in it's respective case and the solution still intact with it's seal and all waiting happily to be use and the contact lens drop that eagerly awaits the use of the owner?
I wanna sell em.. any buyers??? hahahhahahha I doubt it... But to prove how serious I am about giving up... The solution of SOLOCARE AQUA 360ml goes at RM 20, the ALCON lens drop goes at 15. Both with it's seal still on.. so don't worry.. I'm not too free to reseal it back...
Now the lenses are the tricky part.. who would want them anyway... But.. if U want to try contacts lenses.... and ur power so happens to be 4.25 or 4.50 U can try them at a price... I don't think I can teach U how to put em in though.... So any takers? Oh I hope to sell the 8 pieces of lenses still in thier original condition at 80 bucks for all... *price can be haggled* Heck! if U want the 8 pieces of lenses I'll throw in the solution and the lens drop for free but the price would then be fixed at RM80.
Hahaha... Time to leave... Cheerios.. don't go frustrate urself over some silly matters nowLabels: Emo, Gibberish

0% Inflation? Pah!
Sunday, November 11, 2007
I read about this somewhere I forgot where, it's either in a magazine or the newspapers which means that most would have read it too... The details are kinda vague to me but the gitsch of it is something like this...
It was an interview with someone *probably a manager or a boss of a company, I forgot*... He was saying: " 20 years ago when I was a fresh graduate, my starting pay was RM1400. Now I pay fresh graduates the same amount."
Imagine that... With everything on the rise... our salary doesn't cahnge at all... It's just stagnant.... how is the darn economy supposed to grow if we can't spend... For 20 years, don't tell me that there ain't no inflation at all.... Imagine, ur parents used to be able to buy a bowl of noodles for RM2 or less.. now.. a bowl of noodles is RM4, that's like a 100% increase, the pay could have went up a little...
Reading what the person said really made me think... what the heck are humans really here for.. *here I go again...*Labels: Emo, Gibberish, Thoughts

Regrets... I've had a few?
Saturday, October 20, 2007
I think I'm starting to have pretty major regrets... regrets about choices that i made about 3 years ago. I think that's why I feel quite depressed lately. I start regretting my choice everytime I see some really cool designs *like Shinichi Ogawa's or even Naoto Fukusawa's*.... sigh.... feel so impressed I feel so inspired.... then I start thinking! Did I make the right decision? Should I have just went with it? and everytime i start thinking about this... I'll just tell myself that I have new goals now & the choice has been made, so just stick with it, there is nothing wrong with this choice. Maybe... just maybe, 10 years from now I'll look back and say "why didn't I get away while I could?" or "Thank goodness I stood by my decision"... Hopefully it's the latter.
Well.. that was one of the regrets.... I've felt that way for about 3 years except that lately it's just been too unbearable especially when some lecturer goes about saying negative things.... feel so helpless.... Another regret is regarding my future. If I had just listened to my parents and went somewhere sodarnnearit'spracticallywalkingdistance... probably then i won't have second thoughts on my future well being.

Disposing Trash
Wednesday, October 17, 2007
I think for people to develop the want to recycle, they should first develop the need of disposing of thier garbage more responsibly. If people can't even throw away rubbish, how are they supposed to even recycle the rubbish into the correct bins?
I can bet with u that if u step out of your house and take a walk to the nearest eatery, you are bound to see rubbish that are not supposed to be where they are.
I for one think that people in this country think that bus stops are extra large rubbish bins, cardboard boxes, plastic bags, empty cans and an abundance of bus tickets are commonly found there... Once in a while it'll be clean though. Probably the poor cleaning people need to pick up after the "people", but most of the rubbish are just left to mother nature to be dealt with.
Sigh... poor land.... So I guess I should tell people to start throwing garbage into the designated areas before I tell them to recycle... no?
by the way, something happened on my way to college today. I was at a bus stop, waiting boringly for the bus to make it's grand entrance when I noticed a fellow HELP student. I had seen him before in one of my classes... Don't know him, He sat on the same bench as I did, separated by a metre or 2. He was eating his breakfast, some fried stuff and some fishball that was in a plastic bag, he kinda gobbled through his breakfast and conveniently *I say VERY conveniently* threw the plastic bag behind him like nobody's business.
I was kinda pissed off, I started to look for a rubbish bin. I was contemplating whether to ask the "dude" to pick up the rubbish. Then I saw him taking out a can drink.... so I told myself "if he throws that behind him, I'm so gonna ask him to pick it back up..." He didn't take too long to finish it and again threw it behind him.... I was furious.... but alas.....
I tapped his shoulder and told him, "Can you not litter?*simplified version, i said in mandarin :"Ni ke yi bu yau luan diu la ji ma?" direct translation would be: " can you not simply throw rubbish, which sounds slightly off"* The fella gave me some sort of look, it was between a "what the heck" and "what do u care?" look. he picked it up and threw it in the rubbish bin nearby, and hurried up his bus.... the same bus that I could have took but I didn't cause I didn't want to see him..... geramnya....
hmm.. I think that's about it... Cheerios!Labels: Emo, Gibberish, Thoughts

Boring? Me?
Friday, October 12, 2007
I find myself to be a rather boring person. I don't have any particular hobby, I'm not particularly keen on certain things, I don't particularly extremely hate things either. The fence that I've been sitting on has also sagged as well...
I should find a hobby... One that does not involve the computer. Maybe I should join some sort of club to meet new people... But I don't find that I'm that interesting anyway... so even if I meet people, I wouldn't know what to say... "How are you?", "today no class ah?" *hehe*
Oh sigh....... Live is Life... Don't find it very fulfilling... probably this is part of the all important "wait" which I think doesn't exist since one should not wait for things to come but take action and make things happen. But alas all these are just preachings that I don't pray myself.
*note to self: find new things to do*
*note to readers: I think I feel slightly depressed. How do U know if you are depressed eh? Do depressed people think they are depressed?*
P.S. since no one commented... I guess Ti Lung & Jo In Sung don't look alike and my eye sight has gone off
to the question of my day: Absolutely, I think I fulfill the criteria of being an utmost boring person.Labels: Emo, Gibberish, Thoughts

Yes? No? I dunno.
Friday, August 31, 2007
Before I start of with anything I would like to say "Happy 50th Merdeka!" to all Malaysians, even if you are not very patriotic, which I think I fall into that category, do bask in the holiday and enjoy the fact that Malaysia is 50 years old! Man how far we have come... *I'm getting carried away* Anyone bought "New Straits Times" today? They have a really cool copy of the 1957 newspaper which is pretty amazing, though the words are small and the pictures are black and white... it's still very cool!
*Time to bring the topic back to "Yes? No? I dunno."* All right... let me begin by saying, I think I think too much sometimes, my mind seems to like to think a lot, like why is the banana yellow when it's ripe? oh.. why is it yellow anyway? Oh forget.... like when I want to order something... I think for ages... ask tonnes of questions and might not end up eating at the eaterie, this ordering food thing is so complicated that I have " OFE 101" gosh!!!
Now I'm thinking again... *btw, I think every thinks 24/7, or not how do we have dreams?* should I or should I not get a bag... No not the "handbag" though that I'm seriously considering, I'm talking about a backpack, though technically I don't find anything wrong with my present one... -.-"" I think I'm askin for trouble here, anyway... The current one can still carry stuff around and all, the zipper is still workable though part of the zipper head is gone.. and the bottom is developing a little hole in the side, apart from that, alls fine...
On a second thought, I think I should keep using this one till I find a better excuse to get a new one, besides the one I'm eyeing isn't even found here... "D'oh"... Now for more thinking...
Should I or should I not get contacts? Yes? No? I really dunno... I have played with the thought for awhile now, I'm just afraid that my eye might get infected and all, so the safest is use the one day contact lenses, but they are hell expensive *though I don't think going into Hell will cause a bomb, anyway this is besides the point*. Anyway, based on my Trusty mate's opinion, "If U are careful it will most likely be ok"... Ok.. what if I'm not careful? Besides, I'm kinda lazy to clean it and put it on... *What sort of dumb excuse is that huh? so lazy... don't wear lar!*
Argh.. argh.. decisions, decisions! I think I should continue my assignment but I'm too lazy and apparently there's a mid term coming out but I can't find the schedule... ish ish.... So um... should I get contacts? hmmm.... hmmm..... oh on a happier thought.. I got a ..... On a second though, I shouldn't put this here... If U want to know.. ask? I might or might not disclose it... depends on my mood.. wahhahahah
Hmmm is there anything else??? Hmmm.... Ho hum... well that's about it... Oh yes! There will be a "The Sims 2" expansion pack coming out.. though frankly I think I just don't find that very appealing anymore.. I don't know why.... ok then I shall leave now...
Cheerios Readers! Have a nice Holiday!Labels: Emo, Gibberish, Thoughts

U2 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Saturday, August 11, 2007
Feeling a little demotivated lately and I don't know why. I have a feeling it's because I feel that time is running out. Running out? What am I suppose to meet that needs urgent attention? I have no clue. I feel like I can't accomplish things that I want to achieve... Oh Life.... *vowed to stop sigh-ing*
Oh well, life goes on and I suddenly feel motivated after typin the paragraph above! Haha.. that's so odd! Hmm let's see what's been happening lately... hmmm.... hmmm....
Ah Yes! I attended a CPA talk today and do U know a song by U2 called "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"? Well I think it's no longer my life's theme song! hahaha I think I've found what I want to do *for now at least, it might change again as my mind is rather fickle* Hmm... so that's about it! I still haven't gotten round to checkin out bags though a bag that I saw in Langkawi is sold here *saw it last week*, though I doubt I'll get it...
Oh Right, jsut a short update.... no "elaborate" "special" entry today... Cheerios!Labels: Emo, Gibberish

Window? Phone?
Sunday, July 22, 2007

Is this a window or a phone? I can just say that it's helluva phone no? but it's not a real phone though, just a concept... It's called "Tarati" & was actually inspired by the word "touch", therefore; instead of keypads, it has holes for us to interact with, there a concept behind this. To dial, we pass our fingers through the holes... pretty cool... It looks like a window or some sort of building... but it's still really cool!
It's designed by Branko Lukic for "nonobject", a book out towards the end of the year... The concept behind the design can be found here.
Alas it's only a concept, it might take a long time for it to be usable, wonder if any concept cars were produced... hmmm...

20.07.2007
Friday, July 20, 2007
Ah the time has arrived and the once in an entire lifetime number has appeared! I didn't do anything that was particularly memorable/ special to commemorate this fateful day, which means I didn't go rock climbing, kayaking, had a makeover or even jump out of a plane.... BUT it was quite a meaningful one. For me, it would be the most meaningful. :)
Had a little surprise waiting for me in the morning with a makeshift cake, had a surprise outside the cinema's toilet *it was that or in the cinema... omg... I will blush till the next day... hahaha*
Watched "Invisible Target"

and Surpise! Surprise! It was really entertaining! I actually think it's better than "Transformers", yeah U read right... It was quite a typical story line actually, one could roughly guess what was going on, but the direction was really nice, I actually felt like I was experiencing events at the same time the characters on screen were... Very nice! If it were split into 6 parts, it would be 3 parts Action, 2 parts Comedy and 1 part Drama. Good stuff... I actually kinda liked Jaycee Chan's role... hahah very goody... hahah oh, he looks A LOT like Jackie Chan... but i think Jaycee is cuter... hahahah oh the main bad guy was pretty cute too... lol... I didn't catch his name though... * oh wait, I found out it's Wu Jing, his pic below...*

I think i detoured a little, never mind there should be more detours... This day had a few firsts too, I went to Bar-B-Que Plaza *I have no idea how it's spelled*, it was quite a long eating process, and i asked quite a number of silly questions, hahaha but the food was ok, the sauce was nice too... *omg, my fav song is on! lol* At the restaurant, I also experienced a first regarding service. I would say it was bad or anything, but the server's attitude was little off? depends on how one sees it, but I think she was a little too playful? Didn't work for me though, I'm a more reserved person, so work your charm elsewhere, I was just felt it really odd.
I mean have u ever encontered a situation where the server takes your cup to refill your drink, U look up at the person and the server goes *this might be a bad translation* "What? you don't want is it?" I said "er... no need lar" *i kinda thought she was joking* Then she actually continued saying "So U want or not?". I was like "No, no need, I don't want" then she kinda gave me a look and said "ok lor" and walked off... ODD.... There were other situations too, I don't want to.... oh what the heck..
I just recapped the second "episode", the first was when she asked us for our student id's, then everyone was kinda lazy to take theirs out... then she said "no one want to give then no discount ah" I kinda asked the Coffeeholic to take hers before, but I dunno what got into me so I attempted to take mine too, the Coffeeholic was faster than me, then the waitress went "so slow, people faster than U lor"... er ok...
3rd episode, while bringing the cake, she wanted to take the cheque book, I stopped her and said we haven't paid yet, *if you are wondering why the cheque book was there, the people there though we wanted the bill, -.-"" and made a little round to show it to us... -.-"* She said, "Huh? haven't paid yet ah?" with a really are u kiddin me look. All it all, quite a weird shop hahahah ok next...
Kinda walked around the mall after, I don't seem to be able to find a bag that I really like, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough or maybe the theory of "what U want U can't find, but what U don't want just pops up everytime!" Soon them mates left one by one and it was "time to say goodbye"... I collected my last paycheck from my previous work... It felt a lot, I dunno, I forgot how hard I worked... Bought Lee Hom's Cd... more on that later...
Another first today would be, I met a girl who lived in Britain her entire life but has very little British slang... she even speaks cantonese... wow... She's my mum's primary Best Friend's daughter... I think i actually look her age... about 4 years younger than I am... hahahha.. interesting this..

Another first would be listening to Lee Hom's newest album for the first time. I would say it is the best so far.. haha in his 2 previous albums I skipped a few songs, this album is unskippable, to me... nice nice.. I like it.. Especially the beats... nice stuff... 3 thumbs up!!! Oh and he's kinda into the environmental stuff too considering the minimal packaging and his list of things to save the environment.. nice!
What other firsts could there be? hmmm... Oh yes! I actually drove at night! hahah for quite a short distance though... "for a person that has gotten her license for a long time and only driving now is pretty bad" It's quite different, it's kinda hard to see the white stop line.... anyway....
To top the "day" it rained a little.. and you know what happens when it rains? "I'm only happy when it rains" hahaha It was only for a short while though...
I think I'm beginning to grasp the concept of birthdays, it's not what U do, but who you spend it with.... as long as one has good comapny, a birthday cannot go wrong... :) apart from that today will be the most meaningful cause along the way as I was trying to figure out what I was trying to do, I realised that the things that I wanted to do wasn't so powerful to coerce myself to do it, I managed to figure out that life isn't just about yourself but also other people, so I gave back a little to the community. *I didn't volunteer, I don't think I'm at that stage yet, I wonder if I ever will be" I actually did it without my mum forcing me... that is so odd... I think I'm changing...
I did another thing that I always wanted to do but just never got round to doing it... I applied to donate my organs actually pledge, cause I won't be donating it yet... :D I feel glad that I actually did though my Dad kinda protested, why? I have no idea.... It was quite scary filling in the form though.. hahaha especially the part where it said which organ U would like to donate.. hahaha.. SO if U want to pledge your organs or know more about pledging them, click here
And since this 20.07.2007 thingy has things to do with numbers.. what what happening to me at exactly 20:07, on 20.07.2007? I fired up my mp3 player and played the next song on the list and miraculously it was a song titled Happy Birthday in Chinese... I didn't even realise it was 20:07 till I checked out what time it was... hahaha
So it was a Good 20.07.2007! I finished typing this before 12 am!Labels: Emo, Gush, Movie, Review, Thoughts

Living under a shell?
Friday, June 29, 2007
Staring at these 4 walls,
I can't feel anymore.
So much space for movement,
yet I feel such confinement.
No doors, no windows,
just me sitting here with a small halo.
Everything anyone can ask for,
appears in a speed I have never experienced before.
Oh! Such a luxurios room!
Yet... in my mind a question pops out like a shroom.
"Wall oh so tall,
what lays behind thee, oh mighty wall?"

Still living in the 90's
Saturday, June 23, 2007
Just finished watching "Happy Birthday" What a touching movie.... *sob**sob* Still got tears in my eye... hahhaha
I shall skip details and continue with my main topic. It begins with a question. The question being:
What does Jimmy Ray, O-Town, Backstreet Boys, Martika & Natural have in common?
Answer 1: They no longer have musical careers? *dek..........*
Answer 2: They have hits in the 90's! *dek......*
Answer 3: Their albums can be found in cash converters? *ding....*
Absoulutely right!!! Contestant #3 gets 100 points! *lol*
I was actually tempted to get one of em.. but it's erm.. I dunno... the warranty is only for 3 days... scary... 9 bucks each. I wonder if it's worth it... but it feels so odd to own a used cd, it might be scratched or something.
Oh yeah I guess people would be wondering why I'm at cash converters in the first place. Fact: bored worker on lunch break has nothing else to do. Snoops around Cash Converters for entertainment purposes. hehe... Was looking for 911 but... *i don't know why too, I had nothing else better to do* i only scouted 2 walls so maybe it's there. Ah.... I saw some other interesting albums also but I don't think i'll end up buying.
So that's it... Oh I'm kinda disappointed I didn't get any feedback for the last entry.... I was waiting for... "A Makeover? Hell Yeah! U need one!" *lol* or even "what? that's ur ideas ah? so boring one...." Oh well I shall think more but I think I misplaced my thinking cap.Labels: Emo, Gibberish

Here's to you, Mother Earth.
Friday, June 08, 2007
Dear Mother Earth,

As it is the month of your "Birthday", Mother Earth *World Environment month*, I shall proclaim on this very fine day *sadly not on World Environment Day* that I, ***, loves thy Mother Earth!
Sadly this is only in words as my actions does not speak strongly enough as I
1. Waste water
2. Waste Electricity *the computer just runs and runs and thankfully it hasn't suffered from burnout*
3. Do not recycle *though i sell away my old newspaper*

4. uses tonnes of plastic bags
5. Accelerates way too much, but don't move far
6. Like my air conditioning super cold and shiver in the morning and complain "Why is it so cold?"
7. Do not have my own shopping bag *the thought of bread mixing around with socks just doesn't appeal to my mind* *maybe not yet*
8. I do not make my own compost
9. I prefer moving around in the luxuries of a car
10. I like buying non local stuff and thus cause you to suffer more tremendous pain.

So Mother Earth, I know I haven't been behaving very well and you have the right to dislike me even if I still adore your Natural Beauty that just ages so well at your age, not to say that you are old or anything, it just gets more and more beautiful with time, it's just that "your children" just don't appreciate your beauty and certain wounds have been cut and the scars are still there.
You are also getting angrier, day by day you get hotter and one day I fear your "explosion" I hope I won't see it as I fear it might be a terrible sight to behold. Now as it is your "birthday" I shall list down a few things that I intend to do to please you and maintain your "soon to be not so" eternal beauty.

1. When I get older I shall choose to carpool or take public transport or enjoy long walks or short cycles should the opportunity arises
2. I shall one day own a environmentally friendly house that is self sustainable
3. I shall reduce the amount of plastic bags given to me by shop workers.
4. I shall reduce the amount of water and electricity I spend *by how much I dunno, I can't even tell if I spent more or less*
5. Recycle more than my old newspapers *plastic! you are next!*
I shall see you more often dear foreign looking bins!
I know the "to do" list is shorter but it will help your health tremendously so please accept my peace offering.
your very sorry child,
Robbstar
p. s. pictures taken from various sites that I failed to cite... do forgive me....
p.p.s. wouldn't it be nice if one day all cars except public transportation are banned from moving? That is if the public transportation network is super efficient. Oh Well....Labels: Emo, Thoughts

Beijing Olympics Volunteer Programme?
Saturday, June 02, 2007
Beijing Olympics here I come?
I so want to volunteer but am I capable? what can I get out of it? gee... I dunno? One hell of an experience that can be brought to my grave? An experience like no other? A once in a lifetime opportunity; yet I'm trying to talk myself out of it!
Why you ask?
Why there are quite a number of things to address.
First, there's the money involved.
Not everything is about money but in this case, IT IS! Volunteering means U don't get paid no? so one ahs to pay for the return flight, the accomodation and the food too. Considering it would be a Super super peak season come the Beijing Olympics I don't expect the chinese *myself included though I'm not part of China* to be particularly generous when it comes to earning money. So expensive tickets, doubly expensive accomodation *this might be solved if one can actually stay in University hostels or some sort of homestay* and food. *this money factor can be solved to if one can get some political association to sponsor part of it considering they are urging Malaysians to volunteer. Teehee...*
second, the security.
Should I go alone me parents would be worried sick! Though it's only 14 days, but still. Actually I'm the one that feels it won't be very safe. A blur kid wandering around in a strange city with unknown surroundings is pretty darn dangerous don't U reckon?
thirdly, the loneliness?
I find myself hard to fit it but it's all teh mind so if I want to I can? But if you are going alone and suddenly all volunteers break out in fantastic "olden day" mandarin I'll be a goner! So it would be nice if one actually goes with a mate but that would be some what hard no? *can be solved by bringing my super outgoing nature which might still be hidden in me somewhere*
forth, my studies
Yeah as studious as I sound, studies are important too. The olympics would be in August and there would be a conflict of interest considering my studies would be on and all... so another tough call... *this can be fixed by delaying my studies, but again money is important!*
See that's how one talks one out of something, now to talk myself back in... hahhaa
1. The "great" experience!
2. Meet new people
3. I have no idea..... A super experience.... is attending the olympics considered as a good thing?
Another thing that I may add is even if I want to volunteer, they might not accept my application. Should I just apply anyway or trash this "idea" into the bin?
Urgent need of HELP!
P.S. I found out what I should do on 20.07.2007.Labels: Emo, Thoughts

Ending's Beginning
Thursday, May 31, 2007
I'm here tapping away at this black keyboard thinking of what to type next while enjoying nibblets of the "godiva choccies" from Singapore which is yet to finish itself off... Didin't blog for so long then got people complain pulak... sigh... I too tired to watch tv and U expect me to type? hahaha
Right right.. today was the final day of my "sales assistant" stint... I didn't like it... at first.... after telling the manager that I was quitting, I kinda embraced the job though... odd eh... Probably cause I didn't really care anymore and they eased off the pressure and I started fitting in? I took too long to fit in... i think that's the reason why I left... Anyway... I'm gonna start a new job next monday hopefully it goes well... By the way, what is smart casual?
So many movies to wach so little time! Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, Pirates 3, *what's with the number 3?* Oh I'm quite interested in "priceless" too... the one with Audrey Tatou, it looks nice. Anyone? Gotta catch this fast or they'll take it down... sad eh?
I'm trying to recall if I had seen Spiderman 2 though... Oh speaking of which, 1U had this meet Spiderman event which jsut ended yesterday and everyday the host kept asking the same questions.... the most popular was "who is spiderman's best friend?" and "who is spiderman's other superhero friend?" then the hsot would give tips and all and the crowd still didn't get it... I wonder if the dude gets bored cause he did the questions like a week plus... Oh another fav is "how much is a ticket to take your picture with spiderman?" and would U believe it cost 15 bucks to take it with "spiderman".
Ok enough bout that... what else is new eh?? OH! OH!!!! I still have no idea what to do on 20.07.2007.... I thought maybe rock climbing or kayaking at the putrajaya lake... hmmm but it sounds.. hmmm....
Oh oh I read in the papers in the other day where some minister wanted malaysians to volunteer for the Beijing Olmpics 2008... I'm kinda interested but... wonder how's my schedule... plus the air fare and other stuff... hmmm shall look for more info...
Oh btw Carl's Junior is gonna open an outlet in 1U, next to Dave's Deli... can't wait.. hahahaha k I shall try to figure out how to make space for my Sims 2 Seasons... I know it's been so long... cheerios now!
P. S. Anyone for "Priceless" do tell me...Labels: Emo, Gibberish

Sick of JT
Saturday, May 19, 2007
The workplace looped JT for the first 2 days... I was alreayd sick of it when it was in it's first loop *correction, I was already sick of it when i heard the first single... hahahha*. Plus the outside was playing JT too... -.-"
Ok so far... I think my work experience isn't as good as I think it should be. Sigh... don't feel like talking about it here.... It's just very different from the waitressing days. I feel so LOST here... Feels like I'm not cut out for this kind of work, waitressing seems so much better now, the grass is greener on the otherside but when U crossover to the otherside U might feel that U were colourblind in the first place. oh well I shall "March On" like what Good Charlotte says... hahahhaha seriously it's a very nice "marching on" song especially the chorus.
I just gotta work faster? I have no idea.... I shall stay as long as I can... I hate failing so fail I shall not.. anyway I'm there for experience.. so the more experience I get the better.... I shall learn as much as I can but my absorption skills left me when I needed it the most... *cue for karaoke - just when I needed U most*
Gotta work faster 2morrow... faster in what sense I dunno. As long as I want to I can *i think, well it applies to everyone no?*
Oh well this is a little "mandatory" update. I had great vacations so now I need to work very hard but I dunno what very hard is, I only know that my feet hurts, not to mention the odour *ee-yuk, ok not something readers should know* I need more comfy shoes I think, or a way to make it more breathable...
Ah had a bbq yesterday and was quite a new bbq experience.. hahahhaha more like a bbq bake... all the food was great, company too, spot too, though it was raining a little. sadly we were too full to roast the marshmallows... Irregardless, there will always be next time!
alas, I shall leave now to seek some precious moments with my pillow and assorted stuff on thy glorious bed... heheLabels: Emo, Gibberish
