A little Hindi Something

For some reason whatsoever, I seem to like watchin hindi movies..... though only a selected field. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which was shown on TV3 last week inspired me to tabulate the Hindi movies which I have watched before. So here I will share with U my Hindi experiences and a little synopsis of the movie.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
A story about a triangular love between Rahul (Shahrukh Khan), Anjali (Kajol) and Tina (Rani Mukerjee) . Rahul and Anjali are best friends in college, but the introduction of Tina, the Headministers daughter brings them apart. With Anjali realising she is in love with Rahul, but Rahul likes Tina because of "Kuch Kuch" he feels. Tina soon dies after her daughter, Anjali's birth. Before her death, Tina wrote 8 letters to be given to her daughter on her birthday. On Anjali's 8th birthday, Tina writes the story about Rahul and Anjali and urges her daughter to bring them back together........
Kabhie Kushie Kabhie Gham
The title means "sometimes happy sometimes sad". The story is about Rahul *again* (Shahrukh Khan) who wants to marry Anjali *again*(Kajol) but it is disapproved by his father Yash (Amitabh Bachan) because he wants Rahul to marry Naina (Rani Mukherjee). Soon teh family is torn apart. With Anjali never getting the blessing from her in laws. Rohan (Hrithik Roshan), Rahul's brother and Pooja (Kareena Kapoor), Anjali's sister is poised to bring the family together.........
Chori Chori Chupke Chupke
Raj Malhotra (Salman Khan) and his wife Priya (Rani Mukherjee) have been married for a couple of years. They live a wealthy and harmonious live but the only problem is that Priya can't concieve so they decide to find a surrogate mother, and they find one in Madhubala (Preity Zinta). They decide to lie to their family by saying that Priya is pregnant and move to a secluded area to take care of madhubala who happens to be a"prostitute". Things start to get complicated when Madhubala falls in love with Raj and wants to keep the baby............
Devdas
Devdas (Shahrukh Khan) comes from a wealthy family while Paro (Aishwarya Rai) comes from a middle-class family. They played together eversince they were young but soon Devdas is sent to England to study leaving a sad Paro behind. When Devdas returns from his studies, the first thing he does is look for Paro while his mother is busy waiting for his return. Devdas's mother is furious and poised to keep them apart from each other. Both hearts are torn to bits. Devdas moves away and meets Chandramukhi (Madhuri Dixit) a courtesan who soon falls in love with Devdas. Devdas however is poised for self destruction with alcoholism. Strange was the fate of Devdas. Intensely loved by two women, who were never meant to be his. One whom he could never love and one whom he could never stop loving................
Frankly I didn't get to watch the end...... it was the saddest hindi movie which I had ever watched, besides it was getting late..... I taped it but never gotten around to continue watchin.... anyone who saw it can tell me the story?
Mohabbatien
Raj Malhotra *again* (Shahrukh Khan) is in love with the principal's daughter, Megha (Aishwarya Rai) but it is disapproved by the Principal, Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachan). Raj is thrown out of school and Megha soon becomes sick and passes away. A few years later, Narayan hires a music teacher by the name of Aryan who happens to be Raj who has come back to teach Narayan a very important lesson in which he will never forget.
Josh
Set in Goa, it tells teh story of 2 gangs, the Bichoos and the Eagles. the Bichoos are led by Prakash (Sharad Kapoor) and the Eagles is led by Max (Shahrukh Khan). Goa is split into 2 territories. Soon Rahul (Chandrachur Singh), Prakash's brother returns from his studies *I think* he falls for Max's sister Shirley (Aishwarya Rai). The plot evolves further when Prakash finds out a secret about Max and Shirley's past in which they themsleves have no idea...........
One 2 Ka 4
Javed Abbas (Jackie Shroff) is widowed Police Officer with four children. His partner is Arun Verma (Shahrukh Khan). Both Javed and Arun are honest, hard-working and diligent. And this leads to the "death" of Javed in mysterious circumstances. After Javed's death, Arun takes over the responsiblity of looking after his four children. Arun obtains the help of Geetha (Juhi Chawla). While investigating his partner's death, Arun finds out Geetha's true identity. Arun is soon accused of drug trafficking and bribery.............
Chalte Chalte
chance accident between the car and a truck driven by Priya Chopra (Rani Mukherjee) and Raj Mathur (Shahrukh Khan) leads to romance. However, Priya is already engaged to be married to Sameer (Jas Arora). Her heart tells her that Raj is her soulmate, and so she decides to marry Raj. The marriage is celebrated by great pomp and ceremony. Life seems all too perfect, until Raj runs into financial problems. After a great deal of problems, they decide to separate..........
Baghban
Raj Malhotra (Amitabh Bachchan) and his wife, Pooja (Hema Malini) does everything for the sake of their 4 children. When Raj retires, they expect thier children to tke care of them, but as fate has it, they are torn apart in different parts of India with 2 diffrent families. Their children are disrespectful ,cruel and abusive. For 6 months, they led a sad life while posting each other letters. After 6 months living apart, they decide to meet up when it is time to move from one son's house to another. They meet at the place they had thier honeymoon years ago. By chance, they are invited to stay at the lavish Hotel in which they had thier honeymoon. They soon stumble upon thier adopted son , Alok (Salman Khan). They decide to not rely on their 4 children and live their own lives............
woah finally I'm done...... this may not be an interesting entry but..... it's just for fun..... Did U realise certain things
- Most of the shows I watched has Shahrukh Khan in them.
- A lot of charcters name are the same *ie Raj Malhotra*
- Hindi movies are sad.....
- I didn't continue the synopsis till the end becasue most of them I had forgotten what happened......
I actually watched more hindi movies than this but I have forgotten most of them.So that's about it.... Next time when U guys have any nice hindi movies for me to watch tell me ok?
