New Year's Eve

Hey Guys,
Happy New Year! Made any resolutions lately. ANway lets just talk bout mah day. Oh yeah WELCOME TO 2005. It's a new year, a new beginning. There will be changes yet things may just some how be the same. This is a new year for all. To improve, to procrastinate, to make excuses, to make resolutions and to learn from the mistakes and make amends. Make new mottos, make new lies, make new friends, make new toys?
Anyway, just a recap on my day. First the day started with me wakin up at 10 ate breakfast like any typical morning. Read the papers and prepared myself for work. at about 11.45 rushed into mum's car. And suddenly........... Mum couldn't start the car. Tried several times to no avail. Tried callin the cab and still no cab available to fetch me. Then had to ask my neighbour for a lift. And besides they were goin to 1u anyway.
I rushed to the restaurant at 12.10. pheew thank god I made it bfore 12.30. Anyway clocked in and started working. Things were A ok. Taught Khaliq (my partner in crime during the afternoon) how to key in the food and stuff. got like 4 bucks tip. after splitting some with khaliq. ABout 2.30. procrastinated with Yi Lin whether we should take 2 hours break or 1 hour break. One minute it was 2 hours. I told the senior. Then we change our minds to 1 hour. Then I told the guy again. Then the misguided Yi Lin said she wants 2 hours. *wat a confused lady*. SO we ate ate A & W.Then discussed bout who we don't like and totally agreed that Yi Yuen is very funny.
Anyhow we haeaded back to the shop after only an hour and Mr. Sua (our GM) asked us to get fishermen's friend for him. Specifically the one with blue background and white stripes. Went to watsons and checked no that kind of fishermen's friend. weonly saw one with green background and thought that he was colour blind. (whoops) went back and asked him which one he wanted . got told wat to buy then I said I shall buy 2 for U. (he only wants one) He said "ok lar anything lar". Then so I bought him 2 packets and he said " wah U really bought 2 packets ar?" Then I said for a rainy day. Then he said "so U don't want me to recover lar is it?
I think I better cut this short. Anyway after breaking had a shift meeting. Then the shift started checked the bus stand set the table and at around 7 the gust started to come in. First customer was a transfer table. Not bad I think I served them well. Oh and yes bfore that. Some b***h came in with her family and was totally pissed off with one of the server's and demanded to see the manager. what an A**. Poor joe. ANyway then came a couple which was ok. Then one lady came in and sat at a table for 11. That was when the horror started. I called the manager twice. Kneel down takin to her for at least 15 mins. and kept standing up to ask the manager questions. I was paying so much attention to that lady until the other guests couldn't get my attention. SO cam.
Then she even handed me candles to poke on top of the dessert bcz it's her friends birthday. And they get a free creme brulee which I was reluctant to give. Man it was just A tough day. Then came back at 11 and drank my mandatory new year special, The "Sparkling Juice".Man couldn't believe it still sparkled considering I put it in at the start of the year. Any way Happy New year all. don't break yer new year resolution so quickly.
